This problably is not the correct forum for such a question, however what I can tell you during our refresh steps, they are tailored to our situation as you have many things to consider once the refresh is complete.

You need to make sure your batch jobs do not run when the system comes back online. (zero spool and BTC processes in your instance. Turn back on once all steps are taken care of)

Lets say you are refreshing from a production system, you need to make sure your RFCs no longer point to other production servers in case something were to get processed.

Place all jobs in a scheduled status.

Check tRFCs for errors and clear.

Clear spools (if needed)

Printers

Obsolete Change pointers

SE06 DBcopy or DB migration

Any earlywatch info

STMS configuration needs adjusted

This is just a few items in our large list off the top of my head we perform.
