Warning/Note in USERS_GEN transaction

Hi All, We are trying to create users in SRM via USERS_GEN and select the option Create users from Existing SU01 users.

While doing so a Note comes as"Note that the performance problems can be encountered in transaction PPOMA_BBP if too many users are assigned to the same organizational unit.

You should therefor make sure that you do not assign more than 200 users to the same organizational unit.

I would like know whats the impact of assigning more than 200 users to the same organizational unit and whats the solution to avoid the same. Thanks for your support in advance. Kam

It is a best practice maintain the users below 200 in any given org node, it does affect the performance while you open PPOMA and any activities. SAP too recommends to have the users less than 200. If any of your org unit has more than 200 please divide the org units in may be name them as A&B under the same line of supervision.
