Hi,

The User type of the FFID should be Service and check the user has proper authorizations to call the Fire fighter id and also check the user(FFID) group is maintained under s_user_group object.

For Exp: Super Group is maintained for the Fire fighter user.

The group(SUPER) should be maintained in the default virsa role/ user general role under the object S_USER_GROUP. so that dailog id able to call the FFid with out nay error.

Hi Arjun,

Now after your advise the changes are done to the roles and maintained in group.

this error is coming.

At least one login/min_password_* profile

parameter is too large

the first 3 characters of the password must all be different

Ihave tried differnt password but same problem is there.

Hi,

1. Please check what are the invalid passwords maintained in SAP.

2. Please check the length of permissible passwords.

When you have both of the two above, go to the FF table where you have maintained the password and check it against the values of above points.

Hi Khaja,

I agree with the above recommendation. The problem is with "login/min_password", because the value was 8, and sum of "login/min_password_digits" and "login_min password_letter" its 9. Correct the same.

Also, perform the following:

1. After making the parameter changes, re-generate the passwords. You are no longer required to maintain them in the Security tab. So they should work as normal.

2. Ensure that all the FFIDs are set as Service IDs.

Once after performing both these actions, then login to FF and check if you still have the error.

Raghu

Hi All,

Now same problem exists.

Password minimum Length = 8

Minimum Letters (Including 1 uppercase and 1 lowercase)= 6

Minimum Digits = 2

Minimum Special Character = 1

Please give some suggestions to me.

Hi Khaja,

Are you not getting any issue with normal users?

Your password parameters say that min letters - 6, min digits 2 and min special char 1 - total 9, but min password length is 8 so there is contradiction. Can you change the min digits to 1 and check if it works?

Also, if the user is defined as service user, for a while you may de-assign the ownership and check whether the user ID is able to login to system normally or not. It will determine whether issue is with ECC settings or is VIRSA specific.

Hi Sabita,

Normal users are able to login in prd.If we try to login from service user that is also working properly.

But when a normal user tries to log in to the FF ID the error is coming.

Hi All,

As per the Password policy is below details are

Password minimum Length = 9

Minimum Letters (Including 1 uppercase and 1 lowercase)= 6

Minimum Digits = 2

Minimum Special Character = 1

normal user id it works fine

whenever we connect to the FF ID its shows an error message

"First 3 characters of password must be all different. "

presently GRC 5.2 Sp13 patchs available.

Basis Support Patche are 700 14 patch level.
