EWA for non SAP Databases

Hi All, I was wondering if Solution Manager allows creation of EWA Reports for standalone databases, in my case are SQL.

Both Solution Manager and standalone Databases are on SQL2005.

So far I was able to connect those databases and see them on ST04 transaction.

But is there any way to create EWA like reports for this standalone databases?

I would refer you to SAP Note 1257308 - FAQ: Using EarlyWatch Alert

Databases of non-ABAP systems ('remote database')

Databases of non-ABAP systems can be monitored with the Solution Manager

but are not covered in the EWA. An exception are Oracle databases where

basic checks exists from ST-SER 701_2008_2 on (see the sample report on

the SAP Service Marketplace - https://service.sap.com/EWA - section

Media Library). See section 2.1 Setup - Special Topics .

So I think this should address your question.
