Location heuristics not picking prod/loc while running in background

Hi All,

I have a situation where, if I run location heuristics in the background using program /SAPAPO/RSNPDRP1, the program is not picking any product location. The log says- 0 product location processed.

If I run the location heuristics on same product locations in interactive planning mode, it is working all fine and I am getting the results.

I am using the following selections while executing in background-

1. Entire planning horizon

2. Manual selection- planning version, product, location

3. Location heuristic

4. Net change planning

5. Unrestricted capacity

Surprisingly, in some cases the background run is working fine and in some cases it is not picking any product/location.

Any pointer to resolve this would be of great help.

Hi All,

I got the reason.

The 'Net change planning' was checked, however SNP: Change planning active indicator in the planning version was not set. Hence the job was not picking the prod/locations.

I removed the net change planning indicator and the program picked the desired prod/locations.
