Status change via actions (Service Desk)

Dear all,

we are using service desk functionality with status changes via actions, just like in the ChaRM scenario. The method 'HF_SET_STATUS' is called from these actions. The problem is that the staus only changes if i fill in the Ibase component in the support message gui.

Is there a way to avoid mainting the ibase and still changing user-status via actions?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Daniel,

there is no way to do that. HF_SET_STATUS always requires a maintained Ibase component.

How about maintaining a default Ibase component automatically in BADI ORDER_SAVE?

Yes, using that BaDI was one way i thought about. I'll try that out.
