2. Downloaded Download Manager and successfully installed.

3. Added SAP GUI into download basket in Service MarketPlace.

4. There is no proxy settings in internet Option-> LAN Settings.

5. In download manager I have used

Address: http://services.sap.com

OSS UserName & Password.

No Proxy settinngs.

But I am getting error. "The basket content could not be read. The following error occured: Unable to connect to the SAP Service Marketplace. Check your settings and try again."

I have gone through all the SDN posts regarding this error but stil not able to solve the issue.

Please help me..

Solved !

Error: "The basket content could not be read. NULL

SAP Download Manager 2.1.130

FIX:

==========

Set your download manager to these settings.

http://service.sap.com ( Watch this my // were
for some reason)

S#

PW (ensure correct) reset through SAP if necessary.

User a Proxy Server.

our company has xxxx.com with port 8080

Proxy Name

Proxy Password

Key was the CORRECT JAVA Version "1.4.2_12"Get this from the Java Archive Page http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/archive-139210.html

Then download JRE 1.4.2_12

      • Note you can not have any HIGHER version of Java as java automatically uses the highest version.

So with that I was able to access my download basket.
