Old server still available in ST06 after systemcopy

Former Member

Hello,

After an external company did a systemcopy for our company we see in <tr> ST06 - GOTO - PERFORMANCE DATABASE - Compare all servers the old server from the systemcopy server and the new server.

We want the remove the old server from before the systemcopy because it seems they have forgotten to delete somenthing during the systemcopy and so it still exists in the new system.

Can anyone tell us where we should do this or in which transaction?

Kind regards,

Leo Harmsen

This worked for me...from Ashwani in another thread....

Hi,

If still exist in ST06.

You can delete from following method.

1. Run RZ21 --> Topology --> Segment Overview and click Display Overview.

2. Click Local Segments Tab --> Edit and delete the entries from the list (which is old application server).

3. And save it.

It will solve the issue.

I was facing same issue and solved from above method.

Even, it was not showing in SAPWLSERV table, solved my issue.

Thanks

Ashwani

Usually a cleanup is required when coping a multiple instance system.

Check RZ03, RZ04, SM61, SMLG and remove the old instances.

Hello Juan,

Thank you for the quick reponse.

Unfortunally the server is not visible in the transactions RZ03, RZ04,SM61 and SMLG.

Kind regards,

Can you see it in your internal connections in SM59?... (you shouldn't)

Also check RZ12

Hello,

In SM59 a SAPOSCOL.... connection still exists to the old system. I have deleted this connection.

In ST06 the old server is still present. Is it maybe deleted by a process that runs at special times.

Kind regards,

Hello Juan,

I have found the problem.

They have not done the folow-up activities right, they forgot to delet the entries from the osmon table.

When the entries were deleted the old server is gone in ST06.

Kind regards,

Leo
