Availability check

Hi All,

For one of my material there is no stock available, but there is open inbound delivery for that material. when I am creating sales order that material is not getting confirmed against planned inbound movement. In availabilty check configuration I have ticked the delivery check. Please advice what could be the possible reason for material not getting confirmed against planned inbound movement.

I have ticked the delivery check.

It should be for Outbound Delivery. Moreover, when there is no stock, how system will confirm against a sale order ??

But there is a inbound delivery for the material and material should get confirmed for future date against that delivery . right?

It is a standard feature that whatever stock is made available in Unrestricted will only be confirmed to sale order. You should be aware the unrestricted stock will include the check boxes whatever you tick in OVZ9. You have to minus all these check boxes and the balance should be confirmed to your sale order.
