Hello experts,
Delivery note is generated for cash sales order when saved.
Since in cash sales, customer picks the good straight-away, why is there a need to create a delivery order and also given the billing is order-related where there is no need to use DO as reference.
Have a nice day.
regards
Tom
Since for cash sales and rush orders, customer collect the goods, immediate delivery is created.
If delivery was not there then -
How can you do PGI and update stock (as mentioned)
If item is picking/packing relevant - then how would you do it without delivery ?
All delivery functions (except transportation) can be done in cash sales scenario. So delivery is reqd.
Thanks

Hi,
Without delivery it will not update inventry because the picking and PGI will be not done for goodw sold on cash. It will not update inventory. So it is necessary to do delivery for the cash sales.

Hi,
Your points are right, but still need to create delivery for the inventory update
even though customer is taking upfront stock should be decreased from inventory also cost of sale should be booked that is why need to create delivery.
