pricing condition type and the procedure it belongs to

Hello Experts,

Pricing is found in basic function in spro.

Under this we maintain the condition types.

But how does the SAP system know for which pricing procedure a condition type belongs?

Is a condition type uniquely usable by 1 pricing procedure only?

Am i right to say the pricing procedure is set in the condition type properties screen?

Have a nice day.

regards

Tom

Hi,

Pricing procedure works on condition technique.

1. Define condition type

2.Define access sequence and assign it in condition type

3.Define pricing procedure and logically place condition types in procedure

4.Determine pricing procedure in sales document

Sales orgz. + Distribution chanel + division + customer price pro + document price pro = Price procedure

Dear Tom,

It is not like that, you can use a Condition Types in as many Pricing Procedure u want what u need to do is to use

Tocode: V/08 and select any Pricing Procedure and add the desire Condition Type at desire step.

As far my basic knowledge either u ar new to SD or from different Module as it is basic and most important thing

for a SD Consultant.Pls go through following link for better understanding of Pricing procedure,

Who can name me 1 sentence in sap course material that says condition type can be used in any pricing procedure.

Anyways, thanks for your help. I am new and learning.

I have no experience. Its not possible to get a job without experience when the market is asking only for those with 2 or more years?

System recognizes a condition type for which pricing procedure it belongs to, based on the document pricing procedure assignment you set in OVKK.

Is a condition type uniquely usable by 1 pricing procedure only?

No as long as the data maintained in V/06 is same, you can assign to en number of pricing procedures. For example, you cannot have a different data maintained under the tab "Control data 1" in V/06 for one scenario and another value for another scenario.

thanks
