Partner Type Validation

1.When we are creating Customer Master, in Sales Area Data under Partner Functions Tab we assign Sales employee number.

2.This sales employee number is been created in HR.

3.Sales employee number is a personnel number with Info Type 0900 that is how it will be differentiated to other personnel numbers in the company.

4.Now my issue is when I am creating customer master and assigning the sales employee number, it is taking any personnel number who does not belong to sales.

5.I want to control this, as it should take only sales personnel number not any other employee numbers.

6.How to control this, kindly guide me.

Hi,

In HR define personnel sub area as SALES/Marketing Department

And when ever you create new sales person master sign this subarea

Now when you select it in customer master find sales person on the basis of subarea(so list will display on basis of department)

If you implemented HR then again define position,job key, function etc and maintain it in master and in customer master search on this basis.
