Hi...
I m having problem with setting page margins for printouts...because of spiral binding requirements I want 2 inches of left margin in my printouts...i copied the standard format types to new ones and set the list margins in "List Driver Attributes" but its not working....there is no left margin coming in the printouts....i m using SAPWIN, HP2300 and HPLJ5SI device types. please help...

I believe you can control margins in the Printer initialization action in the Format. It would be best to copy the Device Types you want to Z types then you can change the Printer initialization action in each format that would need the margin shift.
What I'm not sure about is the PCL command you'd need for those device types. With the HPLJ4 type, spacing is controlled like this:
set vertical spacing (VMI, X/48 inch) for 44 lines (landscape!)
\e&l8C
set horizontal spacing (HMI, X/120 inch) for 120 characters (landsc.)
\e&k10H
