solman cannot send message to SAP

Hi expert,

When I try to send a message to SAP with this process :

Tcode solution_manager(solution operation) --> Go to --> Data Transfer Configuration

then error appear, "Network Access Message: The website cannot be found "

The error is like when we tried to access the net but the connection is troublesome

3)Have you made the Hostname of Solution manager server entry in your local PC host file. (in your local PC C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts)if not please enter the entry as follows

IP address of Solution manager server host name Full qualified host name

Hello Fadli,

Data Transfer Configuration will launch a Webdynpro application. Have you activated HTTP Services, if so are other web applications working, such as Solman_workcenter. Has the sevice been activated (Check in TA SICF). Is the parameter icm/host_name_full set to the FQDN ? But you are executing an web application, so this is why the error looks like you are failing to access the Internet. You should check the above and that should lead you towards the problem.

Hi,

I think you are trying to register solution with SAP if this is the case then you can send data to SAP with other method as well. Please follow below step:

Go to SA38 and run report RDSWP_CONNECTION_CONFIG_SAPGUI and then search your solution and mark send all data and execute it. This will send your data to SAP.
