I have Virsa 4.0 installed on ECC server

Now i have to implement Virsa 4.0 on SAP CRM 7.0 which is in the landscape.

Now should I do a fresh Virsa 4.0 installation on CRM server or Should I install the RTA's on the CRM server and connect them to ECC server

Which approach is better Fresh Installation of Virsa 4.0 in CRM or configuring RTA in CRM?

It depends who the target user group for analysis is.

If - like most companies - you have a central authorizations team that manages the risk definition, control catalog and assignment processes, then it's best maintained centrally and connected via RFC.

If the requirements of the security teams are different, then separate systems may be a better option.
