Hi,

To Lock or Unlock a client, please follow the below procedure,

Run the following functions via tcode SE37:

1. SCCR_LOCK_CLIENT

2. SCCR_UNLOCK_CLIENT

Hi,

I agree with Vishnu,

Please perform the following to lock the client:

1. Go to SM37.

2. Enter the module name SCCR_LOCK_CLIENT

3. Enter the client number you want to lock.

4. Execute (F8).

Note: Locked clients are only accessible to DDIC and SAP* users, while other users can't login to that client. Furthermore, if you want to unlock the client use SCCR_UNLOCK_CLIENT in the same way as above.

Please let us know if solved.

Regards,

Avishek.

Hi,

Very sorry, that was a typing error....the TCode is SE37....:)

Anyways, the locked client, indeed will be accessible to the users who log from the Web\Portal. To lock the access to these users too, refer to SNote 562628.

RFC connections will still be active, but however if you are trying to do a Remote Client Copy, involving the locked client, then there could be a problem as the client is locked. Otherwise, there could be no issues.
