Hi Santhi,

ORA-01033: ORACLE initialization or shutdown in progress

Please double check your oracle. Looks like the oracle is not running well.

Thanks

Former Member
0 Kudos

Hi Santhi ,

The solution for this error is to check with oracle whether its available or not. Check the oracle processes in your task manager. If oracle processes are not running then take a clean resatrt of your database with shutdown abort and then start it as startup .

Once oracle is started start your SAP via MMC.

Thanks..

Mohit

Hi,

this looks like environmental....

Please check your environment variables.......

Also check the Oracle service user. You might need to change the user...

By the way, how did you do the system restore
