PDF conversion issue (images are not print properly)

Hi,

I am having a problem with images (logos) when the procedure converts spools into pdfs and download to the local machine (presentation server). The images are not print properly

I am using the function modules:

- CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF

- GUI_DOWNLOAD

Any ideas?

This can be related to the FlateDecode compression as described in SAP note #843480.

You can turn it off as follows:

SE38 -> RSTXPDF3 -> enter 'FLATE_COMPR_OFF' in the 'Name' field -> Select 'Change Settings' radio button

You will get a pop-up 'Do not use flat compression'.

Select the 'ON' button.

After this create new PDF and check the result.

Hi Aidan - I am new to all of this but have the same issue and need to turn this 'FLATE_COMPR_OFF' to the On position - but how do I do this?  I need explicit details on how to gain access to and modify this switch please?  Thanks, Thomas
