RSXMB_SHOW_STATUS Adapter Status 000

Hello All,

We were running the report RSXMB_SHOW_STATUS and we are currently seeing 130,000 messages with Adapter Status 000 which actually means "Messages not scheduled yet on the outbound side". How do we handle these messages ? Do they get cleared on its own or do we have to go ahead and delete them and if so which report do we run to delete these messages ?

Thanks,

Kiran

Please run the job SXMS_REFRESH_ADAPTER_STATUS in order to update the status of those messages. Also, it is recommended to have the job scheduled periodically, according the help page below.

Hi Lucas,

Thanks Lucas !! We just ran the job and the number of messages with Adapter Status 000 went from 130000 to 120000 (reduced by 10,000). Can you please recommend anything else we need to do inorder reduce the number of messages further.

Thanks,

Kiran

You can check the other messages statuses by running the following reports (using SA38 transaction):

RSXMB_SHOW_STATUS

RSXMB_SHOW_REORG_STATUS

This should give you a clue on every message on persistence layer, to take the next steps according to the OSS note below
