External JDBC Driver Installation Problem

Hi Experts,

Purpose: We are in the process of installing External JDBC driver in order to connect to the legacy system from PI through JDBC adapter..

1)Steps:--We have modified the required .SDA file (*aii_af_jmsprovidelib.sda*) which includes the .jar(in our case it is ojdbc14.jar) file and the changed provider.xml file as well.

Now while trying to deploy it on the j2ee engine using SDM we are encountering one issue.While we are in the step "Deployment Configuration Settings for Updating SCAs/SDAs" thiis step is disabled actually. All the three options for "Settings for Updating SCAs/SDAs here disabled only..So we can not proceed.

Any input will be highly appreciated.

Hello,

Can anyone have any idea that before deploying the modified aii.af.jmsproviderlib.sda (the vendor provided .jar file and the changed provider.xml) file do we need to undeploy the older aii.af.jmsproviderlib.sda ?

Any input will be highly appreciated.....
