Reg:: In-Process inspection ( Inspection type 03)

Dear Friends,

i am using inspection type 03 for in-process inspection type.

i my master recipe i have used control key PI01 and i have attached MIC in operation itself.

Now i have an issue regarding Results recording . Suppose in master recipe if i have defined 5 operations , and if material gets

rejected in first operation only. As this inspection type is stock irrelevant , after result recording do i need to do Usage decison.

if i want to re-process , how can i re-process the same operation ..?So that i can make cresults recording once again for the

same operation. And also please let me know which control key is suitable for in-process inspection type, to attach MIC'S in

operation itself.

Hi,

Inspection type 03 is not stock relevant, where as inspection type 04 (final inspection) is stock relevant.

You can explore inspection points in your case.

Standard Control key PP04 or PI02 is to be used for making MIC assignment mandatory.
