Factory calendar

Hello All,

Affects(Impact) of factory/ Holiday calendar with respect to sales Org and company code.

As you might be aware that Factory Calender is a calendar in which working days are numbered sequentially.

The factory calendar is defined on the basis of a public holiday calendar. The validity period of a factory calendar must be within the validity period of the public holiday calendar. The weekdays that are working days must also be specified in this calendar. Such as

- Monday through Friday are working days.

- Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays are non-working days

Factory Calender don't effect company code. Company code in more to do with Fiscal Year Variant.

The org units which can have dependence on this in SAP, some of them can be:

- Plant which will production/shift planning

- Sales Organisation which will affect sales process

- Shipping Point which will affect delivery dates in sales

- Payment Currency

- Room Reservation Management

- Training and Event Management

- Payrolls
