Metalink users

Hi,

Metalink users from note 758563 does not work and right now the note itself cannot be read. Have someone noticed it? is there any sap user that works?

SAP Note 758563 - Oracle Metalink access for SAP customers has been released today with bad news:

*********************************************************************** Atttention Because Oracle does not allow generic users for metalink access anymore for any customer due to security reasons, the metalink users SAP customers used in the past (see below) are not working any longer. SAP and Oracle are currently working on a solution. Further details will be announced in this note immediately when available. Please ignore the rest of the note until this header section is removed.

the header section in the note is not yet removed and the orasupport@sap.com still doesnt seems to work..is there an alternative?

I copy again the bold part:

the metalink users SAP customers used in the past (see below) are not working any longer.

so it is normal that the user you mention does NOT work.

There are NO alternatives, curretnly there no way to access to MOS unless you have a contract directly with oracle.

If you do not have one and need information from an ORACLE note, the n you have to open a message at SAP requesting that note.

Hello

Unfortunately for customers who bought the Oracle license from SAP

(standard case) have short term/midterm no metalink access anymore.

Oracle has locked the generic metalink accounts for customers.

As of now there is no excat date for this users back in use..

The note has just been released.

Unfortunately, Oracle has cancelled the mentioned users and they cannot be used.

It looks like SAP-Oracle are currently "discussing" things

Apparently SAP is changing the note and resetting the user/passwords, I'd just wait another day or two.
