Dear all,

I have imported Chinese language, when login with ZH, the user menu still display in English, but the SAP menu is displayed correctly in Chinese.

Have gone thru below notes but still not sure which part is the solution.

110910 - Deleting the language load

764480 - SAP WinGUI I18N Trouble Shooting

1000586 - How to analyze missing translations / missing texts

1375438 - Globalization Collection Note

Thanks.

Your comment will be appreciated.

Regards,

Kent

Is ZH as language properly installed? Means

- import done in SMLT

- support package parts of the languages imported

- language substituted

- client refill done

Dear Markus,

1.) import done in SMLT

2.) support package parts of the languages imported

3.) language substituted

4.) client refill done

I have done 1 & 2 and also client maintenance.

I'm not sure what are 3 & 4. Can elaborate further ?

Thanks.

Regards,

Kent

Hi Kent,

can you describe in more detail which kind of texts are missing ?

Do you mean by user menu the Easy Access menu ?

In general I would recommend to follow SAP note 110910 and recheck.

Dear Nils,

Yes, when we login to SAP, the very first screen, under the wording "SAP Easy Access" there are 2 icons. One is "User menu" and next to it is "SAP menu".

When login with ZH (Chinese) language, click on "User menu", the folders and descriptions all still shown in English, but under the "SAP menu" are nicely displayed in Chinese.

Kent

Dear Kent,

your problem is probably caused by missing / supplemented entries in table AGR_HIERT.

Please have a look at

If the texts are missing (and not supplemented), then it might be possible to apply report PRGN_CORRMEN2 described in SAP note 363723.

Best regards,

Nils
