Dear,
We are currently working with Bex 7.0 (BI Add on 7.X support pack. 10 revision 1547) as add in to excel 2007. We have noticed that sometimes queries disappear from the workbooks.
Following cases appeared:
Bex workbooks locally saved (my documents or on common drives) as xls, xlsm, xlsx where no longer recognized as BEx workbook when opening up to refresh the workbook (underlying query got missing).
The issue is not linked to the fact whether you are connected or not connected to Bex when saving your workbook locally. Nor whether you altered your workbook (e.g. construct a pivot) while Bex was not open.
It also happened that by using "copy sheet" without changing the underlying query, the underlying query of one of the copied sheets disappeared but not for the others..
Has anyone an idea what can be the root cause for this & how to solve it?
it is really annoying as we cannot give our users clear instructions & they occassionnaly loose all the work done...
thanks for the feedback,
Annemieke
Hi
We are having the same problems, have you found a solution to it, or is there anyone out there who can help.
