Dear Friends
I wanted to know the advantages / dis advantages of interfaces between SOAP to RFC V/S SOAP to ABAP Proxy
If there any performance benefit between the two

Hi,
it depends on ECC Team to, if they have already function module developed or predefined function module , then going with SAOP to RFC will save development time, but if you are handling huge data then Proxy right option.

The advantage and disadvantage depends on the exact requirement and scenariou2026
For example. If you want to have synchronous scenario you will go for Proxy or RFC
But if you want to build asynchronous scenario you will prefer to have IDOC
Following are few good threads which will help you a lot..
Thanks,

Hi,
Using the SOAP to RFC Adapter you can stay on the JAVA stack and do an integrated configuration, which shold give you a considerable performance advantage. (Assuming you are on PI 7.1 or later)
On the other hand, the ABAP proxy will give you better error handling possibilities, and to place messages in the queue on the receiver system.
Hope it helps
Kind regards
Mikkel
