BRTOOLS 720

Hello

I want to upgrade brtools to 720 from 700.

System is solman 7.0 & oracle 10g at win 2003 srv sp2.

ı downloaded relater componentı and copied them to kernel folder.

but new version is not working.I think there is missing runtime component.

"This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect"

ı read notes such as 684106-1402510 and other sdn posts .

in windows/WinSxS related component is absent.

(amd64_Microsoft.VC80.CRT.......................4053)

do you have any ideas ?

Hi,

do you get this message when starting brtools from operating system or from db13?

Are you sure that you have the right version for your system? unicode / non unicode, 32/64bit, x86/x86_64...

when searching google you can find similar messages - their solution was changing msvcr80.dll

Hi

I am taking messsage from operating system.

when ı looked old brtools.exe and new brtools.exe file properties ı see them similar except version

so ı thınk ı downloaded correct files.

also I searched google and usually ı was forwarded making update runtime VS2005 .

After that I installed last version of sapgui for be able to install VS runtime dlls.

ı havent resolve yet

Hope you are using the right BRTOOLS for your OS. May beSAP Notes 1375494 & 1540608 are helpful
