Hi all,
I've a problem with the Integration Builder, the system is a PI 7.0 abap+java stack23, when I try to logon to it, the popup is in German language and not in English.
In the configuration profiles where language is relevant are configured for English,German and Italian.
Please help me to solve it.
Regards.
Stefano.
Hi Stefano,
I think that this may be a bug in SP23.
Another customer is having the same issue on this SP.
There is a message opened with development about this so I will keep you updated.
Thanks and regards,
Sarah

Hi Stefano
In the personal settings in the Integration Builder I guess you have selected the preferred language in sections General & Logon also.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e9/c4cc9b03a422428603643ad3e8a5aa/frameset.ht
Also check the browser settings if you have not done so already
Tools -> Internet Options -> General -> Languages
From Control Panel, go to Java -> General tab, Temporary Internet Files -> View... -> Delete
If this does not work you could try re-deploying the SAP_XITOOLS.

Hi Stefano
You should find this when you open the SAP_XITOOL SCA you have deployed.
If you still have the SCA please open it, using some packer (RAR, ZIP..).
Depending on the tool you are using, on Windows you might have to rename the
ending to "zip" to be able to open it. (In the end, SCAs, SDAs, JARs are
zipped files).
When you open this SCA, you will find a file ExchangeDirectory.sda.
Please open this file too, there you will find aii_ibdir_rb.jar which
should contain the resource bundles. Please open this file, there
are a lot of folders inside. Open some folders. For each file ending
with _de.properties, there should be at least a corresponding file
ending with _en.properties in the same folder. Please check this for
some folders.
If this is ok, you could try to redeploy the SCA.

Hi Sarah,
the XITOOL is ok, I checked following your istruction.
The strange situation is that I can see in german thefield about user password and language, but the value of language field is in italian... example, "italiano" for italian or "inglese" for english...
Help me please.
Thanks.
Stefano.

Hi Stefano,
Maybe you could check inside the aii_ibdir_rb.jar. I think sometimes whats happened is that the properties file rb_xxx_EN.properties is missing.
If not then maybe you could try re-deploying the SAP_XITOOLS which hopefully would resolve the issue.
Otherwise you may need to open a message with SAP Support.
Hope this helps.

Hi Stefano,
One other thing to check, is it just the logon screen in German?
The logon window is Java Applet. It depends on the language you select
in your client OS, not your server.
It means you can change your program language in your OS.
For Windows System:
Control panel -> Regional and Language options -> Advanced ->
Language for Non-Unicode programs -> Change Germany to English.
Then, it'll effect Java program window to show English.

Hi Stefano,
A "Reinitialization" may also help:
Administration Page of XI Tools -> Directory Tab -> Java Web Start Administration
I guess you may have already checked these parameters in the Exchange Profile:
com.sap.aii.directory.serviceuser.language
com.sap.aii.repository.serviceuser.language
com.sap.aii.integrationserver.serviceuser.language
com.sap.aii.adapterframework.serviceuser.language
com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.language
com.sap.aii.applicationsystem.serviceuser.language
com.sap.aii.ib.client.login.languages
com.sap.aii.ib.client.content.languages
com.sap.aii.docu.languages

Hi Sarah,
yes you are right.
I tried the "reinitialization and force signing" because I have had java client problem, but it didn't help me.
