Ravi,
I suppose you have setup the sub items (or BOM components) to be relevant
for checking, in this chase the main item will be always confirmed.
Please refer for details to note 546965, question 7.
I APO you need to recheck the correlation profile setting.
best regards,
Michael

Hi Ravi,
One more thing subitems sue to product substitution or location substitution do not work with sales BOM.
I hope you are doing Non Rules based ATP , check the schedule line category of sub items in sales BOM, is it relevant for availability check.
Thanks

Ravi,
Probably because you have not configured the sales order ATP to be confirmed based on the availability of BOM components.
What are you using for an availability check?

Hi,
Thanks for quick responses.
Here I would like describe the scenario:
Product A is main item and Product B is sub item (stocked item).
Scenario 1:
System doen't have stock for B.
SO created for A and it has confirmed the qty.
my understanding, If there is no stock for B then it should not cinfirm A.
Scenario 2:
In another SO, C and D items where C is main item and D is sub item.
When SO is created, D has been confirmed and C has '0" confirmed qty.
please throw some light.....
