Hello,
I am unable to find the web dynpro component name for SNC application in portal.
We have requirement to modify the header row(label description) in alv .
On right click ,user field info we get reusable componet name 'SALV_WD_TABLE' ,view information 'VIEW_TABLE',
application name /SCF/SNC_RR . How can we find the name of the web dynpro componet where the actual logic exists ie. in SE80.
Thanks
Hi Adam,
The standard Web Dynpro component for SNC_RR application is /SCF/UIWD - it is the main component for the SNC Web Dynpro Application.

Rohit
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Go to SE80 and search for the Web Dynpro ABAP application named /SCF/SNC_RR. Then view the details of this application. It will show you which WD Component is assigned as the start component of this application.

Hi Adam,
After displaying the screen right click on the element for which you want to change the text, and get the more field help. There you can find the component name, UI element name nad configuration name if any.If the Component is SALV_WD_TABLE, there you can find the component configuration in SE80.Right click on the component configuration and press create. There you can find out many configurations, from there you can find out the component name and the UI element name.
In most of the standard web dynpro component the UI elements will be build dynamically and the values will be assigned dynamically.
Try out the above method. It will work.

If right click on portal doesnt give information you needed then other option is that you see in the portal content the WDA application which in fact you have it. See the namespace property value.
With these values you should be able to get to the component name in r3 repository information system.
enter the application name and search. double click the application ,you can see the component and interface view.

Hi Adam,
Right click on any ui element in portal, go to more field help, you will find all information about like component,
application etc.
