Many of our customers request that early deliveries be restricted to an agreed number of days before due date. These "early days" range between 1 and 28 days. They also may specify "delivery in full only" or "part shipments allowed". Is this something that SAP has functionality to manage so that delivery creation can be automated using the rules dictated by each customer?
Hi,
I don't even know if you are seeing your post or interested in a reply but anyways, here you go.
Here is my assessment of this:
1) Delivery in full only : There is a field in the Sales Area > Shipping Tab for this;
2) Part shipments allowed : There is another field in the Sales Area > Shipping Tab. Partial
Deliveries allowed;
3) Early Delivery Dates : Deliveries are unfortunately not directly controlled through Customer
Master but based on the ATP Rules and Delivery Scheduling
settings. You could Manipulate the Shipping Conditions, Routes,
Etc. for this but that is a laborious process and not suited for every
scenario.
Hope the explanation helps.
Thanks.
