ZDATE_ILLEGAL_LOCTIME Runtime Error

Former Member

Hello All,

Runtime error ZDATE_ILLEGAL_LOCTIME occurring in our production system. I have checked the note 447839 and other posts in this forum before raising this post and there is no difference in the time between application server and OS. When similar error occurred last week we have restarted the server without changing any date or time and the issue was fixed. However again this week we get the same error. Automatic time synchronization is enabled in this server. Is there any possibility the time synchronization the cause for this error. Please clarify

Regards,

Anand

Hi,

What is the time difference it is showing in the logs, and how frequent it is happening. This might be a reason "Automatic time synchronization is enabled in this server". I have encountered this in the past. We switched off the NTP Daemon and reconnected after the issue in the NTP server was resolved.
