disaggregation level& de-initialization / re-initialization of PA

Hello Experts,

We are on SCM 5.0, & wanna change the disaggregation level for couple of keyfigures. Do we have to de-initialization / re-initialization of planning area for this activity ?

Hello,

you don't have to de-initialize and re-initialize the planning are in SCM 5.0

You can use transaction /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN, right click on the planning area you want to change and choose "change key figure settings". Answer the warning message with "yes" and you can make the changes on the next screen (alos add new key figures if you need to). Then use the button on the left (change planning area).

Additional information: If you do this in you development system and transport it into QA or prod environment without de-initialization of the PA in the target system, then you will have to make the change manually in QA and/or prod environment using the same procedure as described above.

To be save, you should save your planning area in an infocube before you make the changes in the productive environment.
