Hi everyone!
I'm having a requirement from my client, I'm not quite sure how to solve.
They use to handle what they call control points in their customer projects. These are a series of activities the project management must fullfil in a certain date. But they are internal, not oriented to the customer. I tried to use milestones, but it won't work, since when they export the project to MS Project to show the schedule to the customer, the milestones are still there.
Do you know if there's any way I can manage this control points with fulfillment dates as internal objects without affecting the structure when downloading the project to MS Projec?
Thanks in advance! Regards,
Thalos.
Hi,
you can maintain a separate control key & create internal activities for your "control points" (instead of milestones as you reported problem with them).
when you see the activity overview, all the normal activities which are not control points will have "PS01" control key for example. All the control point activities will have a special zee control key as you design.
regards
