Run-Time Error 380 "Invalid Property Value" when I click on any scripts

Hello experts,

I am getting below error while creating any scripts or just when double clicking on it in IDM 7.1.

Everything else works just fine as far as jobs. But once I get this runtime error then the MMC starts acting up and I have to close and restart in order to bring back to normal

Run-Time Error 380 "Invalid Property Value"

then sometimes when I click cancel or X I get another below error:

Run-time error '-2147418105 (80010007)':

Automation error

The callee (server not server application) is not available and disappeared; all connections are invalid. the call may have executed.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello

We had such a problem some time ago. This answer is from an SAP call. So credits go to them.

It turned out to be connected to storing the position of the Edit Scriptwindow in the Windows registry. If you run Regedt32.exe and go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\IdM\DSE you see a key frmEditData

containing the last position of this edit window. The value looked OK,

but I deleted it anyway and afterwards the window opened normally again.
