Planning Object Structure Error

Hello,

I am getting error when activating POS and setting up CVC for POS.

So here is what is happening.

I transported my Planning Object Structure POS_OSNO and all other related configuartion to QA system.

The Planning Object Structure POS_OSNO is green (active) but when I try to setup CVC for it I get following run time error:

The specified type "/BIC/VPOS_OSNO2" is no valid data typeu2019

I also see message ebelow on runtime error screen - 'InfoCube/InfoProvider POS_OSNO does not existu2019

I did not get this error when setting this POS in dev environment.

I tried to de-activate POS but I get error - 'Planning object structure deactivation failed'

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

From the error description you have provided i think, some characteristic that you have in your development system does not exist in (that is has not been transported to) QA system. Did you have any custom characteristic or navigational attribute in development system ? If so check and make sure all those characteristics get transferred to QA system and then try reactivating the MPOS
