import objects from different system in one SWCV

Under one software component version, Can we import IDOC from ERP System and RFC from SRM system, without changing SWCV properties everytime?

Hi Madan

yes, if you make the Software Component dependend (you do that in SLD) from the Software Components representing SRM and ERP.

But can we access the RFCs imported in SRM SWCV in the RFC Lookup function (PI 7.1) inside Message mapping of main SWCV ??

Hi Mandan,

yes, you import ONLY the xsd from FM/IDoc into PI. Actually you could load a xsd from any system and use it for integration to other systems. You shouldnt do that for own FM / IDocs because they might be changed later.
