Delivery date change based on PGI date

Hello Experts,

We have requirements as under:

1) Pick/Pack Loading time is set in Shipping point

2) Route is determined based on weight group

When sales order is created on 07/03/2011 It has pick pack loading + Transit time total 7 days so delivery date is 14/03/2011. Material is available. PGI date is 08/03/2011

Now if I change PGI on 09/03/2011 the respective delivery is not changed to 016/03/2011 But showing the same date as 14/03/2010

Client wants that 7 days delivery time after the goods are loaded in truck & leave the premises of the supplier's plant. We have ZOR order type with TAN item category, Delivery Item category also standard TAN

Copy control ZOR->LF is also standard as per SAP.

Is it possible to have standard SAp functionality so that route is determined after PGI date actually happens? We would not like to have userexits as far as possible.

Please suggest best solution at earliest.

Your subject and this statement is contradict to each other and I am not sure what your requirement is.

If the requirement is to propose a new route when shipment document is created other than the one maintained in delivery, yes it is possible through standard settings.

On the other hand, if the requirement is delivery date, then as already said, I dont think, through standard settings, this is possible.

thanks

Thanks Lakshmipati for your answer.

Our requirement is "Customer's Delivery date should be worked out as PGI + Transit time."

e.g. Sales order date is 15 March so delivery date is 15 + 7 days = 22 March.

But due to some delays if PGI is done on 20 March the delivery should be correct as 27 March.

But in our system it is giving old date as 22 March.

There is setting to redetermine route based in delivery so does this help?

Or we should go for userexits? Please suggest your views.

As far as I know, through standard it is not possible, you must go with user exit.
