Material ABC123 is not a retail material (MAW1 segment missing)

Hello,

We have created the Materials with material type as "UNBW" and industory sector "Retail" , When we try to change the Procurement type through Mass posting through transaction "MASS" Object Type "BUS1001001", then system is giving the below given error.

Material ABC123 is not a retail material (MAW1 segment missing)

Message no. MG531

We have checked the table MAW1 table , Is their any entries are their not?

The Table MAW1 does not have any entries (means having Zero entries).

How to solve this.

Hello,

Through Mass posting transaction, suppose i used the Object type "BUS 1001" then system will not gives us any error

while pass posting of Material (or above said material)

Suppose if i i used the Object type "BUS 1001001 " then system will gives the error message

"Material ABC123 is not a retail material (MAW1 segment missing)"

We have create the material s with industory sector as "Retail".......

Why system is not allowing from Object type "BUS1001001" Material (retail) and but allow through Object Type "BUS1001" material (industry)
