HI ,
we have a problem with portal login with some users.
we are able to login and reset password from backbend but not able to login from portal with the same user e-mail it is giving ,message Not able to recognize userid/password.
can some one throw some light on this ,it is very uregnt.

Hi Sarath,
Is their any separate portal to change the initial password..? User has to change the initial password provided by the system administrator before login into the system and starting their work.
If their is no such portal configured, then ask the users to login in the back-end system and change their initial password.
Then the new password should work in the portal.

Can you please clarify if when you say portal you are referring to just the webshop or do you mean accessing the shop from the portal.
In the second case please note that B2C is not supported.

Many Thanks for your replies,SAP identified some master data issues with email id-password mappings in the system and checking it.
