Hi,

You can also create the new user id <SID>ADM manually and add it Administrators group.and after setting the environment variables for oracle and setting the path for JRE you will be able to start the SAP System. But password needs to be provided in any case as it is one of the mandatory requirements to start SAP System. Kindly advice if you find any other solution.

Thanks

Hi,

I have solved that issue and able to import ABAP. The problem was with JRE. Now i am trying to start SAP server using

management console and on selecting "start.." for the instance, it is giving a pop-up for webservice authentication - "Critical Operations like starting and stopping a SAP instance via the webservice interface require user authenication. Please specify the OS user password for this operation" and below that showing OS user : Z-AS-UP47/Administrator Password : <empty> since i have not set any password for windows. if i say ok after that it gives error message "Start failed : 2 Invalid credentials".

Please let me know what to do in this situation. Is there any default authorization that will allow me starting instance without giving password.

Sincerely,

Anurag.

Hi Anurag,

An empty password is ideally not secure at all. I would suggest setting a trivial password for user "Administrator" and then try to start the service.

Agreed To Shrikishan D.

I had that problem as i did same thing , set the os user password , log off , and log back and then that's it.

Enter the newly set passord at start / stop sap.mmc and it'll get working..

thanks

Anurag,

How did you solve the import ABAP issue. I am getting the same error:

Loading of 'REPOSRC' import package: ERROR

Loading of 'SAP0000' import package: ERROR

Loading of 'SAPSSEXC' import package: ERROR

Loading of 'D010INC' import package: ERROR

Hi Sharum,

I have stopped installation and restarted system.

> again click on sapinst.exe and

> choose contine with old option

The installation will again start with ABAP import process. you need not have to essentially

spend all 8 hrs again. but be careful do not choose new option.

It worked for me as a work around ;).

Hi,

check sap note https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/400241.

Also check environment variable dbs_ora_schema.
