Hai,

Find which Number ranges are continuous and which are year specific.

In case if the number ranges are year specific, those you can assign now (2days before) itself.

1. Excise Invoice number (normally in most of the company it will be year wise)

T code : SNRO

Object : J_1iexcloc

Maintain for all the SERIES group (Plants)

Interval : 01 || 2011|| 1 || 1000000000

2. T code : SNRO

Object : J_1iintpr2

Interval : 01 || 2011|| 1 || 1000000000

Maintain for all the Excise group (Plants)

3. T code : SNUM

Object : J_iintnum

Interval : 01 || 2011|| 1 || 1000000000

Maintain single entry for an year.

4. In case if your depot prepare excise Invoice

T CODE: SNRO

Object : J_1iDepinv

Hope this will be a useful answer.

Dear Mr.Ram,

In case of Number Ranges, now you would have some clarity.

If so, please close the thread and Open a new thread for "YEAR-END PROCESSES FOR SD".

so the users replies can be referred in future with proper Heading.

Its all depends on your client specific requiments, check with your client, which all number ranges need to maintain, i feel accounting docuemnt number ranges need to maintain, this will be done by FICO, if any sales docuemnt number ranges then go to VN01 t.code
