Hi,
I logged on domain controller in STMS in QA. I can see the following in STMS as
" The TMS configuration is inconsistent
The transport route configuration is inconsistent"
Users were able to do transports and there were no issues.
Transport routes
DEV>QA>PRD
TST(which is not active)
Environment:
Oracle: 10.2.0.4.0
Windows NT
Netweaver 70 ehp1 abap
Please guide me how to resolve the above issue.
Thanks and Regards
Satya
Dear Satyanarayana,
Are you stil facing the TMS Configuration is Inconsistant
If Yes...
You dont need to delete your TMS configuration and created again and again, this is not at all a good practice.
To overcome with the said issue, please do the following steps:
Logon to your STMS Domian with T'Code STMS
---> Select Overview from Menu bar
---> Select Systems from Menu bar
---> Select Extras froom Menu bar
---> Select Distribute and Acitvate Configration:
From this new popup window, please Select: Distribute Configration to All Systems.
And click on OK
The Local TMS Configuration is Inconsistant will be resolved.
Please do confirmed after performing the above steps, if you face any issue, please do let us know to help you resolve any issue.
All the Best
Thanks n Regards
Ahsan.

Hi Ahsan,
Even if I
Select: Distribute Configuration to All Systems. And click on OK
The problem will be there.
Because TST system is down and we don't have access.
So I locked the TST in STMS and user now able to perform transports now. But the message " The TMS configuration is inconsistent
The transport route configuration is inconsistent" still there.
Thanks and Regards
Satya

Redistribute the configuration by using the "Distribute and Activate" on the domain controller.
That should update the transport routes in all systems.

Juan

Hi Juan,
Can you please let me know how to check shared transport directory?
Please find the TP_DOMAIN_QA1.PFL file details for more info.

Log on to the TEST machine with the SAP administrator <sid>adm. Then try to access the share /sapmnt/saptrans of the TMS domain controller. Do you have any permission issues? If the share is accessible try to create a test file in /sapmnt/saptrans/data and /sapmnt/saptrans/cofiles. What is the result?
