Transport issue- data fiels and cofiles are not getting copy on PRD

Hi Experts,

I am facing issue with transports, when i release the TR in DEV its properly coming to QLT queue but once i imported on QLT(with not selecting import options) its not comming in to PRD queue. But if i delete the same TR and if i import the same by adding manually and with transpot option "Import Transport Request Again" only , its coming to PRD queue.

Also i tried by deleting QLT system route in STMS and configured the route directly from DEV to PRD and then released one new Test TR in DEV then automatically itscoming in PRD queue.

So Could some body help me to resolve this issue.

Thanks in Advance,

Suresh Babu

Hi suresh,

Check your transport route settings.

it should be a consolidation route from DEV to QA and dilevery route from QA to PRD

Check trans\buffer\PRD file at OS level.

If the TR entry is there or not?

Sounds like a permissions issue, check that your PRD system have enough access to read from the transport directory.

Hi Juan,

Thanks for your reply. But there is no permission issue, Also we have some work around solution by deleting same TR in QLT system ,adding it manually and finally import the same with 2nd import iption(Import Transport request again) only then data files and cofiles are getting copy and we are able to see TR in production queue.

system details :

OS - Windows NT

DB - ORACLE 9.2.0.8.0

Here domain controler is DEV and QLT,PRD systems having local Trans dir.

I hope you understood my problem. Please let me know incase of any other info required.

Thanks in advance,

Suresh Babu

Can you do a connection and transport directory test in STMS of the domain controller?...

STMS -> System Overview -> Connection test

STMS -> System Overview -> SAP system -> Check -> Transport Directory

Also do a Transport Route Check

STMS -> Transport Route -> Configuration -> Check
