Uploading of Project structure

Hai Gurus,

Currently I am into implementation of PS module for a construction company.

The client had around 12 project going on various sites which have 6 level

WBS and around 25 activities under each WBS and Work order along with

activities where ever possible.

In this case how to upload structure along with WBS/Material component/Service order/

activities etc.

Initially Identify the project by their status and categorize them like category A, B, and C

For example category A comes under projects those are almost finished.. for these you can create only WBS and upload the FI/CO balances.

Category B - half way completed these you can create WBS and only the pending activities and upload the pending materials and also create orders manually.

Category C - Just started, these projects you can create complete structure and material planning..

Since the number of projects are less it is better to create manually ....

Hi,

if all projects are with same stucture(WBS & activities) create one standard template & manualy copy template & create those 12 projects.

since number of projects is less, you can do it one by one. if not you can go for LSMW or BDC using simple project creation interface like CJ2D/CJ01/CJ2B.
