Does re-printing a spool request reflects changes done in the script?

Hello Folks,

I have one question. I tried to search its answer on internet but did not find any, so posting it here.

Does re-printing a spool request take into consideration the changes done to the script?

Meaning, I run the driver program and the script is printed through spool request (say req number 1234). Now I make some layout changes to the script and got to transaction SP01 and re-print the spool 1234. So I wanted to understand whether the changes that I just made to the script gets reflected in the new print?

I beleive it will not take into account the changes, but still want some confident answers. Hope I am clear with the question.

Thank you.

Regards,

Sud.

Hi,

No, when you reprint a spool request, the spool data is already created. You are just sending the same data to the printer. You need to create a new spool to reflect any changes.
