Temporary Disconnection

Hi Experts

Is it possible to create temporary disconnections(historical records) for devices which are currently not installed or for contract accounts that are inactive(no current active contracts)? We are unable to do so through both the disconnection transaction and the migration workbench(EMIGALL). Any guidance on how this can be managed will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Rushi

Well, disconnection should be done only on active contracts. It even does not allow another disconnection on disconnected contract, so I think system will not allow disconnection of inactive contract.

But can you please explain why the requirement is to disconnect inactive accounts? May be there is some other solution.

Thanks,

Hi Rushi,

If device is not installed, then it is not logical to disconnect. So, I suggest if you can install (still do not have active contract) and then create disconnection document - system will allow you. (You can use use either CO, premise, installation or device as reference object). Since you need to migrate historical disconnection data, migrate installations and devices from sufficient past dates.

Hope this helps.
