Template for Data migration

Hi Experts,

Could you please provide me the template for Open Sales Order.What are the details require to input while creating template for Open SO & for Price List.

There is no fixed template for these. But in general, you have to have the following fields as mandatory

a) Sold To Party Code

b) Ship To Party Code

c) PO #

d) Material Code

e) Total pending quantity

f) Delivering Plant (if the material produces in multiple plants)

Apart from this, if any mandatory fields are set for that sale order type, then you have to consider that also in that template.

Similarly, for pricing, first you need to identify for which combination, existing pricing conditions are maintained. For that combination, you need to have a template.

Hi ,

That template you have to prepare. You have an idea what and all fields you require. 1) Header data 2) Item data 3) any condition related to pricing .In Header data pass data like sales organisation,distribution channel.division.document type ,customer number,delivery date make all this fields in excel with names In item template give material number ,quantity ,if there is any condition with respective item give that also. Ask your technical people go with Lsmw bapi method that is perfect with all features . Post if you need more help in this.

Hi shrii,

Sorry for late reply. Here open sales orders also is nothing like normal sales orders. Just pass all the data what and all you need to create sales orders. Post if you need more help in this. You mentioned fist field is Sales Order No.Is it internal or external. ?
