Two Company Codes, Two Sales Orgs and One Plant Is it Possible?

Hi,

One of our client has two Business Units in two countires and as of now they are using different ERP systems. Client is planning to eliminate one of the ERP system. As part of this they want to use the Org Structure as

1. Two Company Codes

2. Two Sales Orgs

3. One Plant that can deliver to both the countries

Is it Possible with in the SAP Standard Framework? If yes How?

i think you should suggest to client to have 2 plant that will be good for his business process , still if you want to do only with that structure than there will be usual senario like , inter-compnay sales, third party sales , sales from plant , depot sales which will include lot of configuration and setting related with CIN, taxes, frieght which the client have to pay for their own process.

Hi,

The Scenario is like this

The business operates from US and Mexico, so we have two company codes.

We want to define a separate sales organization for US and Mexico.

The delivery plant is in US. Which ships products to both US and Mexico customers. Some of the products were owned by US and some by Mexico.

Is it possbile? If yes How?

Irrespective of the fact that the physical location of the plant is in the US, you should ideally create two plants as I guess you would use the valuation level at plant level considering you are saying that some of the products would be owned by the US company and some by the Mexico company.

Plant can be assigned directly only to ONE company code

Plant can be assigned to MANY Sales org + DC combinaion

So its not necessary you assgine plant to company code then u can assgin it to many sales org
