Lock during Key Figure to Key Figure Copy

Hi,

When we use TS Copy ( /sapapo/tscopy) we usually define the source and target planning area and version. We also have the option of restricting the selection through product or location.

When we execute this transaction will it lock the entire planning area of source & target or it will only lock the selection parameters defined in the selection criteria ?

Hi,

It depends upon what type of locking logic is used in the destination planning area, if its a detailed lock then other objects will not be locked however there will be no locking in the source planning area. Let me know if you need more details.

Only the objects defined in the selection Parameters will be locked. (those objects for which the KF copy is taking place)

Hi,

The destination selection objects will be locked.

On source side selection, there is only read actvitiy.
